My approach to photography is rooted in capturing the world as the eye perceives it and minimally altered, while embracing the possibilities offered by modern technology. My journey began with the Sony DSC-F828, and after a decade-long hiatus, I transitioned through the Canon 7D and Canon 5DSR, ultimately arriving at the Canon R5 Mark II. Each step in this progression has deepened my appreciation for the art of photography and its ability to connect us to fleeting moments of beauty.
I aim to create immersive experiences through my work, encouraging viewers to pause and preserve the wonder of those moments. My philosophy revolves around leveraging the unique characteristics of various lenses to highlight intricate details in architecture, nature, and life across the globe. I was born in Texas, and currently reside in Michigan. My journey into photography began years ago, moments that sparked an enduring passion for the art form. Since then, photography feels like my true calling.
